About Exuberance

This painting feels like a spark of creative energy—bold, vibrant, and full of movement. A glowing field of orange shifts into a hot salmon pink, its intensity heightened by a central band of grey that seems to pulse with energy.
Teichert is experimenting here, using a new medium and a fresh colour palette to explore more subtle ways of expression. Her signature line is still striking, but rather than dominating the canvas, it acts as a quiet divide—a space between forms where light seems to break through. Soft streaks of white pigment extend from this central line, drawing the viewer’s gaze into deep, layered fields of colour.
Scattered throughout are rounded shapes in solid colours that act as visual pauses. They break up the space rhythmically, guiding your eye across the composition and giving the work a sense of motion and flow, like a beat you can almost feel.
