Bold shapes in brilliant colours of yellow, royal blue, hot pink, red and purple accented by jet black pop from the canvas in this new work by Calgary artist Aron Hill. Hill is known for their fresh and playful abstract compositions—conceptually inspired by the art of the famed modernist Jack Bush.

“The paintings are primarily demonstrative of light and transparency, a stage for the painted object.” Aron Hill

They obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and their MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006. They have exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
