Calgary artist Aron Hill likes both the structure and the bold form found in architectural elements. This new work on paper is rendered in a striking black on white palette which accentuates the elegant four-sided form hovering above a half circle. Hill is inspired by the modernist compositions of abstract artists like Jack Bush.

They obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and their MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006. They have exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
