This engaging figurative piece in bold abstract shapes and brilliant colours was painted by Aron Hill. The Calgary artist uses arcs of pure colour—purple, lime green, turquoise and forest green to intersect with a head-like shape outlined in deep blue. A blue check mark and a small orange triangle helps to balance the dynamic composition. One in a series.

They obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and their MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006. They have exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
