The drama of black and white makes a bold statement in this minimalist gesso on paper by Aron Hill. A single, large black polygonal shape appears to float in a white space. Hill’s early influences—modernists Jack Bush and William Perehudoff are evident here. This work on paper is sold unframed.

They obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and their MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006. They have exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
