About MoogMusic 5D2B

‘The beat goes on…’ in Burton Kramer’s lively, and colourful modernist paintings. The renowned Canadian artist and designer continues to explore the potential of visualizing music in his engaging artwork. This piece—a series of graphic lines and geometric shapes has a rhythm all its own aided visually by a vibrant colour palette. Violet, pink, green, yellow, apricot, turquoise, black and burgundy play against a neutral gray-blue background. This piece is likely named for the inventor of the modern-day synthesizer, (an electronic instrument that could create and shape sounds) Dr. Robert Moog in 1953.

“Instrumentally produced, multi-layered sound offers the listener sensory pleasure. In my paintings, color and forms, integrated in a structure-based composition, provide a similar pleasure.” Burton Kramer
