About Flying Gorilla on rope 20/100

This contemporary bronze sculpture of a gorilla was created by Gillie and Marc.

A large male gorilla, sculpted in dark bronze appears to fly, its body suspended in mid-air, a golden-coloured rope around his middle. This table top sculpture is designed to draw attention to one of the many animals in the world whose habitat and lives are threatened by human development. As proud eco-warriors, Gillie and Marc’s artwork often highlights the plight of endangered animals. Every year they donate thousands of dollars earned from their art sales to many international animal charities they support through their project ‘Love the Last.’
Edition 20 of 100. Price is in USD.

“More and more beautiful creatures are being pushed towards the threat of extinction and the reasons can always be linked back to us, humans. We have moulded the earth to suit our needs, indifferent to the effects on the other living creatures who share our planet.” Gillie and Marc
