Charlie II
More Works By Paul Duval Paper mache and Wire 2024About Charlie II
This remarkable series of contemporary indoor sculptures speaks to Paul Duval’s skill in capturing the human ‘condition’ in simple form. Each paper mache and wire sculpture possesses a distinctive personality expressed in a pose and a gesture. Charlie II stands tall, head turned, arms by his side engaging the viewer to ask, what is he thinking?
“Whether with one, two or more characters, I try to give the impression that my sculptures are observing us so that they become witnesses to our daily life.” - Paul Duval
