Delicately rendered tree branches ornamented with leaves in shades of hunter green, rose, ochre, burnt umber, and steel blue. Thin, wispy lines extend out from solid forms, and spiraling clusters hover in the atmospheric plane. Existing somewhere between figuration and abstraction, Collett's intricate monoprints are carved using drypoint needle on copper plates that have been stitched together. The artist's hand is evident in the gestural and rhythmic mark making featured in the work.
