If you follow OENO on social or have toured Oeno Gallery's 3-acre sculpture garden, you will have surely had the delight of exploring Mitic's colourful, stainless steel or bronze abstract outdoor works. In addition to his large-scale works, Mitic also creates post-pop-inspired paintings that often implore the viewer to take a second look from another perspective.
Mitic, who has worked with Oeno Gallery for over five years, credits his longstanding relationship with the gallery with helping to bring his artwork to an international audience:
“Their position and reach have given me the opportunity to exhibit my work in a unique way and to expose my work to various international clients that they partner with.”
Mitic has exhibited his post-Pop inspired paintings, prints and colourful abstract sculptures at the Muramatsu Gallery in Tokyo, The Armory Show in NYC, Art Chicago and in Toronto. His work is held in corporate, private and public collections including the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and the Biggs Museum of American Art.
