Julia Reimer exhibits “Winter’s Breath” at Illuminart, Montreal

Julia Reimer in collaboration with Tyler Rock have teamed up to create a dazzling glass installation "Winter’s Breath" ("Souffle d’hiver") currently featured at the Illuminart Festival in Montreal, Quebec. Illuminart is an annual exhibition that lights up downtown Montreal. The festival runs from February 21 to March 3, 2019.

Reimer and Rock’s interactive sculpture celebrates winter through the use of light, glass and mirror panels. The work recreates the crystalline structures of frost and snow reminding viewers of those moments of beauty that exist only in winter. The work is on display on the Promenade des Artistes at the Rue Kimberley corner of UQAM.
