Ken Hall Legacy Installation at North Toronto Memorial Community Centre
Arist Ken Hall's award winning installation, Legacy as part of the Legacy Project will soon be opening at North Toronto Memorial Community Centre. Opening Reception May 7th 2016 from 2:00-4:00pm.
Legacy is a life-sized killer whale skeleton, carved entirely from reclaimed cedar and inspired by the tragic tale of a whale named ‘Hope’. An emotionally compelling experience, Legacy invites visitors to examine our relationship with the natural world. Over 1,500,000 people have experienced Legacy since her launch in 2013.
Legacy will be opening in Toronto at the North Toronto Memorial Community Centre (on Eglinton just west of Yonge), on Saturday, May 7th from 2-4pm. This is a great chance to see why Legacy is making such a splash, and to come out and meet the artists!
