Public Art Shines at Ace Oaks: Philippe Pallafray “After Rain” and “Mécanique Céleste Rouille” Recently Installed
Something beautiful has arrived in Little Elm, Texas. At the Ace Oaks Shopping Center (2130 Oak Grove Parkway), two striking new additions to the landscape have been unveiled by sculptor Philippe Pallafray. Two of his signature stainless steel works: After Rain and Mécanique Céleste Rouille are now part of the public art experience at the shopping center.
Pallafray’s work is known for its dynamic presence and intricate balance of nature, technology, and movement. After Rain offers a sleek, contemplative form that reflects light and sky, evoking the calm and clarity that follows a storm. Mécanique Céleste Rouillé contrasts beautifully, with a industrial aesthetic—its rusted patina and celestial-inspired shapes hint at the mystery of the universe and the passage of time.
Both sculptures encourage visitors to pause and reflect, adding a layer of creativity and curiosity to the everyday experience of shopping, dining, or just walking through the area. Congratulations to Philippe Pallafray and entire design team involved in the public project.
Editions of these two sculptures are available and can be viewed in person in our sculpture garden.
